Scheduling

Schedule campaigns to send at a specific date and time.

Instead of sending immediately, you can schedule a campaign for a future date and time.

How to schedule

  1. In the campaign editor, look for the Schedule option alongside Send Now
  2. Pick a date and time
  3. Click Schedule

The campaign is saved with a "Scheduled" status. At the designated time, Sendra processes the audience and sends the email.

Editing a scheduled campaign

You can edit a scheduled campaign at any time before its send time:

  • Change content — open the campaign and edit the email
  • Change schedule — update the date/time
  • Cancel — revert the campaign back to draft status

Time zones

Scheduled times are set in your workspace's time zone. Make sure this is configured correctly in your workspace settings to avoid sending at unexpected times.

What happens at send time

When the scheduled time arrives:

  1. Sendra evaluates the audience (list membership, exclusions, unsubscribes)
  2. Renders the email for each recipient (personalizing variables)
  3. Sends through your SES connection
  4. Begins tracking opens and clicks

The audience is evaluated at send time, not at scheduling time. If contacts join or leave a list between scheduling and sending, the final recipient list reflects the latest state.
