White-glove setup

Sendra sends through your own Amazon SES account, which keeps delivery costs at Amazon's rates with no markup. Setting that up — creating an IAM user, verifying your domain, wiring bounce and complaint tracking, and getting Amazon to lift the SES sandbox — is a handful of steps across the AWS console. White-glove setup is us doing all of it for you.

It's a one-time $79, and you can buy it right inside Sendra: on the AWS step during onboarding, or any time from Sending Health ("Rather not deal with AWS?").

What's included

• IAM user — we create a dedicated, least-privilege sendra-mailer user and connect its keys to your workspace (stored encrypted, scoped to your workspace).
• Domain verification — we add the DKIM, SPF, and DMARC records so your mail authenticates and lands in inboxes. (You'll add the DNS records, or grant us access to your DNS — your call.)
• Bounce & complaint tracking — we wire the SNS topic and SES configuration set Sendra uses to track bounces and complaints automatically.
• Production access — we draft and submit your Amazon SES production-access request (the part that lifts the 200-email/day sandbox limit) and handle AWS's follow-up questions.
• A test send — we confirm a real email goes out before we hand it back to you.

What it costs

A one-time $79, charged securely through Stripe. That's separate from your Sendra subscription and from Amazon's own delivery charges (typically ~$0.10 per 1,000 emails, billed by Amazon directly).

How it works

1. Buy it in-app. Click Do it for me on the AWS onboarding step, or Have us do it in Sending Health. You'll be taken to Stripe Checkout for the one-time $79.
2. We email you. As soon as your payment clears, you'll get a confirmation email and a specialist will reach out — typically within a couple of business days — to coordinate.
3. You grant access. You share temporary AWS access so we can do the setup (details below).
4. We set everything up. IAM user, domain records, bounce/complaint tracking, and the production-access request.
5. We confirm and hand back. Once a test send goes through, we let you know you're live and remove our access.

Turnaround

We aim to start within a couple of business days of receiving payment and access, and to have your SES account fully configured shortly after. The one step outside our control is Amazon's review of the production-access request — AWS typically responds within 24 hours, and often replies asking how you collect consent and handle bounces (that's a normal part of the process, not a rejection). We handle that correspondence for you.

This is a best-effort service, not a contractual SLA — but in practice most setups are done within a few business days end to end.

How we handle your credentials

• You stay in control. It's your AWS account the whole time. We remove our access once setup is complete, and you can rotate the access key or revoke our access at any point.
• Encrypted at rest. The sending keys we connect to your workspace are stored encrypted and scoped to your workspace — see Connecting Amazon SES.
